The Continental Tower is situated in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, Arizona, approximately 3 blocks north of the new Downtown ASU Campus, 1 ½ blocks north of the new University of Arizona College of Medicine and 2 blocks east of the new Light Rail Station located at Central and Roosevelt. Additionally, The Continental Tower is conveniently located 1 block south of the I-10 freeway and directly west of 3rd Street. This location was selected due to its accessibility to the exploding Downtown Phoenix Job Market.
 
Downtown Phoenix Development and Activities:
The New Phoenix Convention Center (Phase 1 of the Center recently opened), the balance of the center to be completed by 2009 and will encompass over 880,000 rentable Square Feet.
Light Rail to be completed in 2008. The light rail will link the Northwest and the Northeast valley to Downtown Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa.
Chase Field. Home of the 2001 World Series Champion Arizona Diamondbacks.
W Phoenix Hotel and Condominium. 39 story building including more than 200 hotel rooms, plus condominium and high-end retail / restaurant space. It is expected to cater to professional athletes and the Business Elite. Plans call for the opening in early 2008.
US Airways Center. Home of the Phoenix Suns Professional Basketball Team.
777 West. 12 high-end townhomes on 23,500 square feet with half the land to be open space. Completion is slated for November 06.
411 N. Central. Arizona State Universities new Downtown Campus. Programs moving to Downtown include the College of Nursing, School of Public Affairs, and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. The ASU downtown campus is planning to have 15,000 plus students enrolled by 2008. The goal of the new campus is to have at least 1,800 completed rooms for student living by 2008.
Phoenix Biomedical Campus. TGen Headquarters, Arizona Biomedical collaborative building ($29 million project) to be complete in 2007,
Sheraton Hotel. 1000 rooms to be opened in 2008.
University of Arizona College of Medicine. Joint venture to create medical and research programs for the 2 largest Arizona State schools. Collaboration with the biomedical center companies to create further research opportunities.
Children’s Museum of Phoenix. A 50,000 square foot museum that expects 300,000 visitors annually.
Central Park East. 320,000 square feet of office space and home of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. There will be 35,000 square feet of retail space and a 30 story residential tower to be completed in 2008.
Artisan Village. 105 Urban Townhomes with ground floor retail. 1200 plus square feet units selling for $327 a square foot.
Summit at Copper Square. 157 condos and 7000 square feet of retail space. 22 story project. Prices starting at $440K
Portland Place. 188 Luxury Loft units. Pricing Ranges from $290K to over $1.4 Million.
Arizona Center. Mixed use Retail, Restaurant, and Office.
44 Monroe. 201 Luxury Lofts, 34 story tower, 8000 square feet of retail space, prices range from $500,000 to $3.8 million.
Alta Phoenix Apartments. 328 Market Rate Apartments. Ground level retail. Construction started.
Cosmopolitan Towers. 88 Luxury Lofts in a 17 story building. Lot size is right at 21,000 square feet. Construction has begun.
R03. A $45 million dollar mixed use commercial / residential project that will yield 83 townhomes and 97 condominiums.
Arts District.
Cityscape. 1,200 condominiums, 245,000 square feet of retail, a 150 room boutique hotel and close to 800,000 square feet of office space.
M Tower. 129 units starting at $300 per square foot. Over 12,000 square feet of office and retail.
